Amex CLI denial letter

Have a HH(58.3K) and Everyday (1K) and was denied on 6/14. The letter states my income is insufficient relative to my debt obligations with them. It was fun while it lasted!

Greetings FettHutt ~ So sorry that you were deniel -but- that's not a forever denial . . . Once you are able to reduce your debt-to-income ratio (DTI) and probaly wait 6 months . . . try again. Wishing you success in being granted future CLIs.

My balance is only $140 and PIF. I've just reached the max exposure with them.

I've gotten a few of those letters also. Every six months I try for a 'pity' cli and only ask for $2k or so. They toss me a few bucks

Nothing is forver, credit profiles change over time.  AX can be a weirdo at times.  While others have had great luck with the 3X CLI, I have not had all that great of luck.  I just recently upped my DL Skymiles and that was a success, however my Blue Cash still sits at a lower limit and they wont budge, I don't use AX as much as other cards
