A little unique situation I would like some input on. I have an Amex Blue Cash card I opened 11/2011. I filed Chapter 7 BK that was discharged 5/2015. Somehow this card was not closed during BK and remaned open but use it little with a small $1200 credit limit. Since my BK I have had zero negatives on my credit. I currently have a Navy Cash Rewards with a $16k limit, Navy CLOC with a $2k limit and an Apple Card with a $7500 limit. Most recent was the Apple card in spring of last year. I got a new mortgage last September and a car loan in December 2019. FICO of 683 that Amex gives me, other card providers have it in the low 700s. Given all that chances on a CLI? I'm half afraid they will close when they see I slipped through the cracks with my BK. I was caught up in the Syncrony shut down and am looking to expand elsewhere. Thanks for the help.

As long as you didn't burn AMEX in your BK, you should be fine. AMEX will open new accounts for people with BK's on their credit report -- and somebody needs to help me here with the months portion -- but it is at 5 years plus some number of months. You are almost six years from discharge date and I believe (somebody can correct me if I'm wrong) that they go by the filing date and not the discharge date. Let others chime in but I think you will be just fine unless there is something unrelated to the BK that they don't like.
Keep in mind that AmEx soft pulls your CRs all the time, so if there was a potential of adverse action or closure, they would have done so by now, like maybe when BK was filed or DC. That said, if you fell through the cracks somehow or flew below the radar, then that's a plus.
That said, I don't think the account would be at risk of closure if you request a CLI. You can try and see if it goes through. It's a SP after all.

So it's a SP and not a hard for a CLI? If that is the case then I'm not that stressed about it. Was also looking at adding another card as well and didn't want to add to many HP. Been out of the credit card game for a while now.

Correct, CLI request will be SP for sure. You can request up to 3x the current amount.
We're patiently waiting 😜
