Hi everyone,
I just applied for a PenFed cash Cc and I received a notice that my application is pending and I have to upload documents. Proof of address, picture ID, and SS card. I just uploaded everything but I'm guessing they're closed because it's the weekend. What do you think my approval odds are?
Inquiries 12 months: 5
New accounts 12 months: 5
Eq Fico: 725
Util: 2%
AAOA: 1yr2mo
Any info would be appreciated! Fingers crossed......
Thanks
Do you have a PenFed savings/checking/card account currently ?
Did you receive an email or marketing mail ?

I only have a shared savings for almost a year. No mailers.
Does Penfed still ask for all of the ID verification even though you've been a member for awhile?

They didn't ask me when I applied on Thursday; I've been a member since September 2020.

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

@Mr_Mojo_Risin, I did not, on my recent Platinum Rewards Visa Siggy approval.
I guess that's why we always have to keep "YEMV" "YMMV" in the back of our minds! Lol

Maybe because I moved 6 months ago. Sorry I should've mentioned that.
@Anonymous
It always depends on individual profile, but from reading others experiences with Penfed I think you have good chance of approval.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

Agreed, there are lots of recent posts of PenFed approving folks with lower scores than would have met their underwriting critera just a few months ago. I'm not sure if they've made any overt changes to their rules, but I was just approved for a card which most sites indicate you need a 750 to qualify for and I'm in the 690-703 range.
