Well you said he would be auto denied for too many accounts when he would only have 3 reporting.
And even I had more than that, and I was approved.
The only thing Chase would likely deny him for would be not having a combined CL over $5k.
Edit: Which he would have at the time of app.
My reported utilization on Credit karma is: June 28%; May 40%; No mark in April, I assume between 15-35; March 0%; Feb 34%.
Many of these are Auto-Pay paying posted balance but Discover doesn't let you pay on pending balance, yet they still report. Sneaky. One month between Jan-April I payed early, and didn't realize if you pay ahead then your auto pay for that month is canceled, else it would've been lower.
I said it would impact his future apps. If he applies for Freedom & CSP now, or before opening two more accounts, it won't come into play.
EDIT: I guess I should say before opening 4 more accounts because OP hasn't applied for Sallie and BCE yet.
So what balance will be reporting tomorrow when your statement cuts?
Well, if you apply in the next few days as you said, please let us know.
I would be very surprised if you weren't auto approved for both.
Current balance: $5.34. Current available Funds(w/ pending): $2963/$3000.
So current balance including pending is $37/$3000

So you will be going from 28% utilization to about 1%. Definitely let that repot before applying for anything as your scores should get a nice bump!
Sounds good, I think i am too tired to think tonight enough to make a proper decision relating to credit! But working a new position at work where they are running a bonus on credit cards seeing everyone apply makes it harder to hold back! But i dont want my employers card ha.
But right now it appears best choices are: AMEX BCE, and Sallie Mae MC, so I will have Discover, Amex, and MasterCard in Credit, and Visa in Debit.
Ha besides the Amex it sounds like I am trying to match my portfolio to match what Sams Club Accepts(MC, Discover Credit, Visa Debit)
Freedom is a possibility at $100 bonus and rotating, but if I decide to do that maybe do it in a few months or later and possibly at same time as CSP to do one hard pull, but if I do them both it will put me at 5 if i don't get a Cap1 before that, but sounds like I should hold back on Cap1 for now. And that 1 Discover account is from July 2013 so in August or later I will only have Amex and SMMC plus CSP/Freedom(If I apply to one or both of them down the line) so 4 new within 24 months. A Cap1 in that time would push to 5. That isn't counting Loan for car should I count that in there?
I just remembered that tommorrow is Saturday, hopefully Discover still updates!
If it is Chase policy for any accounts opened in last two years. Then after July, and applying for BCE, and Sallie Mae MC than I will be at only 2 new cards, as Discover was July 2013 when I got it. Does my Auto Loan count towards taht 5 as well? That was in November 2012 so that shouldn't affect it then. So if I want to go after Chase in a few months I will want to do that before Capital One.
If I apply in a couple of months for both a Freedom and CSP one being within the 5 cards and one being over would that they notice if it was Back-To-Back.?
Edit: ACCEPTED BY AMEX BCE! Believe it says CL is $3000.
