If I wanted to apply for both the AMEX Delta Gold card and the no fee Hilton Honors card, would it be smart to apply for one right after the other considering I'm already an AMEX customer and it would be a soft pull anyway? I know there are double dip methods with other issuers such as Chase, but are there any stratigies/options with AMEX? Thank you.

From what I gather that you can apply again (if approved) within a few days for another revolving card and it *might* count as a SP. YMMV. You can apply for a charge card and a revolving in the same day but not a revolving (unless im missing something).
@manbuckets In 2014, I used the same pull for both a revolver and charge card in the same day...not sure if they still do that now or not. Either way it's no HP for a current customer right?

Odds are no HP but it isn't rare for a current cardholder to trigger a HP when applying for another card, which multiple members here including myself can confirm based on personal experience.
Officially you couldn't apply for 2 AMEX credit cards the same day but there have been members in the past who reported having done so successfully.
