Amex ED 3xcli 7-10 busines....:(

So the 61 day for this card was yesterday
.. probably 65 or so... it had $3000 balance limiy is $9500... asked for a toral limit of $23000 ..
and i received the 7-10 message... today i called to see what happened. They said that they dont see nothing pending... what can this mean... i should og just waited for today because today is 61 days for the blue cash amd it has $900 balance. With a limit of $9900.... help please

I just had a similar situation. I thought my 61 day would have been on tuesday however i tried for the 3x cli and got the 7-10 day message, tried again the next day with the same result. Called customer service and they said it shows only reason i was declined was because i was a new customer in my first 60 days and to wait 5 days and try again and i should have no problem with an increase. Hope that helps. Kind of put my mind at ease a bit

Maybe you potentailly miscalculated days , i would try again and see what they say. Usually when you do an sp cli from their website they send you an email about your cli, did you get that? For what its worth i just was succesful in my last attempt i was an scaredy cat and only asked for 20k , i could have asked for an lot more.

The rep told me to wait 5 days and try again and if i have any issues to call in . I calculated my opening date as of 10/16/14 but she couldnt give me an exact date for some reason however she said and i quote you are " really, really close". Im going to try again on monday and i will post back.

yes the rep told you that to make sure you were past your 61 days. as i said. its 61 days from opening date. not when you applied. but you said opening statement was 17th of october. therefore today is your true date. im sure if you tried right now edge. it would go thru. i got mine on the 8thof this month. as my opening date was october 7th. there yougo. no need to fear. all they can do is say yeah or nay. i would get it out the way. but good luck anyway. im happy i got my 3x. now im wondering about the 181 day. since im at 10.5 k now. i guess just go up to 24k and leave it alone.

I acutally tried again this am hoping it was time and still got the same 7-10 day message. I duno how my dates could be off. I guess ill wait the 5 days like the rep said and do it again. Just hope this doesnt screw it up somehow
