Amex Gold not appearing

So I'm more or so just curious here. I already have an Amex BCE and Green. I have no need for any new cards at this time but as I've check my accounts I've come to realize that the Amex Gold card doesn't appear anywhere online for me. I can't even search for it. 

I just thought this was weird and if anyone has the same issue or what. I show as preapproved for the Platinum and other cobranded cards so I don't think it has to do with that. 

like I said I'm not trying or planning to apply I'm just curious why it might not show up online at all.

Not entirely sure...especially since you're claiming you're pre-approved for the Platinum

For me, the gold card normally appears under the EveryDay Preferred and EveryDay cards. Now I see the Hilton Honors Aspire card, but no Gold card.cars. EDIT. Nevermind, just logged back in and the Gold Card is under my recommended cards.

@citymunky  Thanks for the update. Interesting. I just researched all over the website and it doesn't appear when I'm logged in anywhere & get error message when I manually search for it. 

Maybe I am just ineligible for the card. Just odd since it shows preapproval message for platinum and I already have green 🤷‍♂️

But it shows up whenever you're NOT logged in, right?

if I don't log in and do incognito then it does clearly appear.

It's weird that it doesn't show up when you're logged in.

Just an update: i ended up chatting with an agent. They sent me another link to try and that didn't work either. They said they'd pass it along and try again in 24-48 hours. 

they mentioned too I am able to apply for the Gold card, so idk 🤷‍♂️  maybe just an IT glitch. Thanks for the feedback everyone

I didn't have an Amex so I didn't apply for a specific card, instead I entered my info to see what card I qualified for. It came back with the platinum card. Before excepting I tried preapproval for Gold and it was a no-go.  Applied for platinum and got approved. Strange. I think I will try down grading in a year.
