Amex Green Card application being reviewed by underwriting

So my Amex Green Card application is currently being reviewed by Amex's underwriting team so I was wondering what my probability of them approving the application would be. Here would be my data points.

Chase Sapphire Preferred - $5,000 CL

Chase United Gateway - $2,000 CL

Amex Blue Cash Preferred - $6,000 CL

BECU Cash Back Visa - $1,000 CL

Income: $60K

Experian: 676

Debt to Income: 83.56%

Credit History: 1 year 2 months

Late Payments: 0

Inquries: 10/12, 13/24

I'd venture to guess their concerns are:

  • High DTI, high reported utilization?
  • Short history
  • High amount of inquiries last 12 months (excessive credit seeking)
  • Score is on the bubble

Any derogatory information on your accounts?

Curious why you're signing up for an annual fee charge card when you're sitting at 80%+ utilization. You have more than enough credit to build your profile, so I would highly recommend using the AF money toward your current cards. Stop looking for new credit until you can learn to manage your current profile.

Current active cards:
Amex - Platinum, BCP
BofA - Unlimited Cash Rewards Sig
Chase - CSR, Amazon Prime
Citi - Custom Cash, Costco Visa
TCL - $315k
CC utili - 2%
Experian - 805
