Amex Platinum In Progress - Call or Not Call?

Applied over the phone yesterday. After confirming that I would like the rep to submit my application, I has to wait for what seemed an eternity as the application was "processing". The rep came back and said they had to read me terms of the card and so I thought, "I got it", but afterward accepting the terms, they asked if I would like to proceed, so I said "yes". After all that, I was told it was pending further review.

Within 30 minutes it went to "In Progress" status on the website. Should I call or just let it sort itself out.

Wait it out. The website will update with an approval or denial in a day or so. If approved you will usually get a congrats email.
