Since I got my EX clean yesterday I couldn't shake the monkey off my back to try the SP at Amex. To my surprise I was immediately denied.
They didn't include a reason in the letter they provided through email but did provide they looked at LexisNexis. Which I'm assuming there's still negative stuff on there. Just wondering if putting a security freeze on LexisNexis and Innovis and the likes would help.
Alternative question, does Chase pull LexisNexis or any others?
Just to provide DPs
EX: 784
TU: 792 at time of app
Not sure what was on LexisNexis to scare them off but they didn't like what they saw I guess. In the process of freezing that.
Income: 45k

I don't know. I think I got denied due to my EX being cleaned up literally that day and I apped too quick. May try to SP again next week to see what they say.

I didn't think Lexis Nexis was even obtainable via SP

Typically LN is the go to for public records such as garnishments, judgements, legal actions etc.. excluding bk's. Do you have any recent litigation?
I have no idea about the Lexus thing..
But when I've applied for CLI with Amex they use my Ficos that are roughly a month old. It takes some time to update.

A month old? Interesting. I applied a day after my Experian was fixed with all my derogs removed and I got approved where as the night before I was instantly denied. Who knows
Im not a AMEX expert. Still a newb. But look for your FICO score update on your account online after AMEX does their update.
