Amex Sign up offer question

I feel like I'm spamming the boards with my Amex questions today. I'm sorry if this is poor forum practice. 

Has anyone been able to have  a sign up bonus offer applied after applying with a different or no offer. I just saw yesterday that the 50k sign up bonus for PRG is back, but I had apped on Friday via preapproval. Would be nice to snag the bonus point, if not - no harm done. Thanks in advance.

I doubt they would be able to apply the offer... It's unfortunate that you app'd just a few days too soon

Highly doubt it, but every once in a while, you'll get that one CSR on chat that's willing to go the extra mile to get you what you want, so you can give that a shot.
