Amex TE Approval - no EX score provided, normal?

Hello all, was approved 3-25-15 for a true Earnings card. Paperwork and card arrived a few days later. I expected to find my EX score within the approval paperwork, but there's nothing. Jan 2014 an approved BCE arrived with EX score. Amex CS says they don't provide scores, but clearly they did with the BCE. Any insight is appreciated, thanks.

They will not provide Fico score if you get the best term for the card (APR).

My experience - BCE was best APR, FICO provided.

True Earnings is 15.24% for all, fwiw.

This seems to be the same with Chase. CSP has only 1 tier of APR and I never got the score when they approved me.
