Amex Use Prequalified or just Apply?

My DW has a AMEX Prequalified offer for Everyday and the Blue Cash Everyday cards.

Question are Prequalifieds looked at different ly? She would really like to get the $300 cash back from the Blue cash Everyday card but the prequalified offer doesn't have it.

If she wants that offer, she need to apply from a link that shows that particular offer

Use the $300 bonus link. I've never had the Amex prequal work for me. I used a different site link to get my BCE. So if she is prequalified I think she is good regardless how you apply.

My indication for AMEX was getting approved for a Discover card.  I never got anything to pop up on AMEX directly for many years.  Pick what you really want and hit the submit button  She might be pleasantly surprised with the outcome.  In comparison Discover approved initially with $4400 and AMEX started off at $11000.

I never even get any offers on the prequal but I was approved for BCE

I was not pre-qualified for any offers but did get approved for the Amex Hilton approx two weeks ago. They only gave me a SCL of $1.4k so my approval was borderline I guess.  I am just happy to be in with Amex.  This was my first application and I am just glad it was approved.  Now I can work on earning the bonus points.
