Amex, What are my chances?

So I been itching to apply for Amex(I would like to apply in January for one) and not sure if I will be approved my Inq's are what worry me, here is what my Credit looks like:

Experian Fico:767

Revolving Credit to Debt: 1%(135/13000) Paid in full every month 5 days after statement cuts.

Negative information:none

Age of Accounts: oldest 11.6 years, Average account age about 5 years

Inquiries: 7 HP(Dates of each are as follows 11/13, 2/14, 4/14, 4/14, 4/14, 7/14, 9/14) A couple of those were for bank accounts/2 were from credit cards and last one for a mortage check(but not applying for one anytime soon)

Credit cards: I have 3 reporting current, and 3 closed current.

Do you think I will be approved?  Or too many recent inquiries, or should I wait a while(had a amex account in good standing about 10 years ago, hoping to get a few cards to backdate and get my age of accounts in better shape)

Re: Amex, What are my chances?

IMO, your chances are good.  Did you check the AMEX prequalify page?

FICO Scores: EX 733 (1/17/15) EQ 761 (1/17/15) TU 750 (1/17/15)

I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be approved for one. What card interests you?

I'll be very surprised if you're not approved unless you've burnt AMEX in the past.

Definitely press for a backdate if they don't automatically do it.

Re: Amex, What are my chances?

I would like the Blue Cash Preffered Card, and maybe later on in the year the True earnings Costco Card.

Re: Amex, What are my chances?

If I get one in January(and get it backdated), wouldn't all my subsequent cards receive the same member since date no matter how long after I get them?

They should backdate to the year of your previous AMEX Green card and the month of origination of the current account.
