Amex app pending but got notice of a hp on Ex

so I decided to apply for the Everyday Premier Card for the backdating and got the dreaded 14 day message. Just got notified my Ex took a Hp by Amex is that a good sign?  I read Amex only does a Hp on approvals ....

Mine did the same thing.  App pending and already got the HP.  Last time this happened I got $1100 limit lol.

Applied for for the everyday preferred. I hope they have an answer for me when I wake up. The wait is going to drive me nuts 😖

What's worse is I think they're closed January 1!!!  I threw in an app for Mercedes Benz Platinum too....oops.  Well two backdated cards to 1998 is what I need!

What's interesting is that I think my apps might have gone in on 12/31/14 which would REALLY kinda suck if I didn't wait long enough. We'll see how it reports eventually.

You know what... nvm I looked online and it says since Jan 1 so I'm sure that's going to be the day.. I looked at the other cards and those since dates have coincided with the opening of those cards. Yay! Relief. lol
