Amex cli

I applied for a cli today. I didn't get an auto approval. He said they will contact me with an email in 72 hours and a letter 7 to 10 business days. He said they have to review it. I was wondering if anybody else got this response from amex.

Many do. It sounds like a denial but i hope im wrong.

I agree with Average joe.  That's what happened to me.  I am hoping for an increase sometime in December.

I recently tried for 3x cli from $500 to $1500.  I got the 7-10 day message.  What's weird is that I got the paper in the mail saying they denied it this round, but a day later I got an email saying they upped it to $1000 due to on-time payments.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the norm.  Figured I'd throw that out there though.

Nice job Charleybea i always believe responsible use more so then spend will create good things for you credit wise. The best thing too about Amex auto, it doesnt reset any clocks
