LOL, Well I noticed that they had reported my bankruptcy date incorrectly. It was supposed to be February, but instead was May. Knowing that it would fall off 4 months later than what it was supposed to, I disputed it with Experian. When they finished looking at the dispute, they ended up deleting it. I do not have any accounts that are included in bankruptcy I think that may be one reason why. I was told that majority of the people whose are deleted early are deleted because they don't feel like calling the courthouse and verifying. I have heard that it may come back but I am certainly hoping it will not. :-)
How long has it been deleted? what about TU and Equifax-Is it still showing there??
Thanks for the answer, just be prepared for it possibly to come back as that is a public record( I believe?). Hope it doesn't for you though!

Thanks. I'm prepared....halfway lol. It actually did not lose my score as much as I thought it would. Only about five points believe it or not. I guess it's better for manual reviews than anything. Also good for companies like Amex or Chase.
In this case, i would do whatever you need to do as far as the cards you want to get, apps and such, in case it comes back down the road. And i would freeze the other 2 CR's so that if you app for any lender that does 2 or 3 bureau pull, they don't see it. Amex exclusively pulls experian, so you should be good to go. Just dont waste time as you never know what can happen with the CRA's. Good LUck.

Experian FICO 8 702 plus 1 more card will report lower utilization on the 3rd, down to 0% from 20%
Ok.. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't apply again since you tried in January also. Wait for the letter to see what it says and then work on the denial reason. But give it at lease 6 months before trying again.

Exactly my thinking! Trying to justify another app in my head. Now you've reassured me haha
With all due respect to others' opinions, i would say go for it. A lot can change in one month with amex, and here is the proof ![]()
