I'm sure this has been covered already and I've missed it, but has anyone had experience with checking on an Amex CLI request online? Today was the first time in a year that I've requested an Amex CLI, so what I saw was different than what I've experienced over the life of my account. Shortly after submitting the CLI request online I received an email with a link asking me to click it to view the "details of the decision." You click the link and it asks you for a "PCN Number?" No clue what that is, so I just copied and pasted the Ref Number from the email into that box. Click check application, asks for home zip code and last name. Entered in, click "check request." Status to the right says "Finalized." It says click the status to view the details electronically. I do, and it asks me to confirm DOB. I do that and click "check application" and I get an error message, "Sorry, your application cannot be accessed. Please try again later."
Just wondering what everyone else has experienced with this new [to me] system. My assumption is that I did not get the CLI, as the CL on my account remains the same. Not sure if this glitch is unique to me, or if others have experienced the same thing when going for an online Amex CLI recently?
I have seen this before when I was helping my friend get a CLI on his Blue Cash Card. Sadly, when we saw it, turned out to be a decline.
About 2 days later he logged in, searched for "Secure Message" and it took him to an inbox with the news. Not sure why that happens. Almost like it's avoiding telling you bad news immediately 🤷🏻♂️
He got a letter in the mail about a week later.

Anytime I have gotten that message I get an error, every single time it is beyond frustrating.
In my experience if it was not instant it's a denial, atleast for me and I have experienced quite a bit from Amex.
I have gotten that same message every time. Doesn't matter if it was the POI form notification, CLI, credit re-allotment etc. Been with Amex for over two years now. Never had a decline with them.
Did you call?
No secure messages. Checked again and saw the same error message. Not really worth calling in my opinion. I don't like talking to human beings. I'll wait for the letter in the mail. I imagine it's a denial, as my CL hasn't increased on the account.
I more or less assumed I reached my ceiling with Amex around a year ago when I requested $60k and was countered with $59,900. The CLI I asked for this time was only a hundred bucks in attempt to grab that $60k. If I don't get it, which appears to be the case, I can confirm that $59,900 is my personal ceiling with Amex.
