Be careful with Amex. I have to say I think Amex pulled a fast one on me. I have several cards with Amex including my business Gold Card that does not have a credit limit that I have had over 25 years. I was anticipating doing a large last minute purchase and had looked at all of my credit cards and chose the Amex Blue Preferred as it was zero on transfers and new purchases. They did old "bait and switch" game and sent me the Blue Business Cash, with a $17K line. I called as I placed my purchase on another credit card and wanted to transfer over to this one for the 0% balance transfer. I was told I can't do that as this is a business card and not a personal card, and no transfers were allowed. I looked at my application and was for a personal card. I let her know that this was a mistake on their end and a manager would call me back. They said they could cancel this card but it would impact my credit score. She said I could go ahead and apply for the personal card and use that balance transfer. I applied and they gave me a measly $2500 credit line, as I just received a $17K line.
OK.
....Sigh..
