I recently applied and was denied for Delta Sky Miles gold card. The reason for denial was score too low. I was wondering if others who also had a low score and we're approved, what their score for EX was at the time. Thanks in advance!
You're going to get a lot more information by googling credit pulls database and looking there.

Agreed to this.. But how low are the scores..

619 EX.
according to credit pulls, there were approvals lower than that, the lowest I saw was 601
Not sure I would trust the credit pulls data on this. Never seen anybody here get approved with a score that low.
If you are looking to get any Amex card, I'd suggest that you:
1. Have a score of 660 or higher on your EX bureau. Yes there have been individuals who may have stated that they were approved with lower scores but why try to just squeak by?
2. Your credit utililzation should be below 30% and because it is Amex, I'd suggest < 10% as optimum.
3. Baddies. All baddies or the most recent ones should be dealt with quickly. Again, others have mentioned that they still have baddies on their reports, but have a low 600 score plus derogatories on your report is asking for a denial.
Do this, and you stand a chance of getting aproved. Below 660 and you are just wasting HPs over and over.
I'm curious to know if someone with a 720 score and a BK (2 yrs) have a chance?

You actually have a decent chance of being approved; provided that you were Amex wasn't burned in the BK. Then it's a different story. Overall, I'd give them a try if you do not have any current baddies and your credit utilization is low.
Ok...I'm going to try in a month or two.
