Re: Amex question

I burned AMEX for about $15,000 (maybe?) in 2016 and yes it was included in BK chapter 7.

I tried their online application and got a pending notice. They then sent me an email telling me to check my application status. It was denied. I don't see any alerts of any inquiries on any of my reports.

Funny thing was, after the denial I got a snail mail letter saying to please disclose if I am a married Wisconsin resident (I am not married, but live in Wisconsin). The letter said please have your spouse sign this letter if you are married, we are still processing your application.

Re: Amex question

Amex is a strange one, I was more interested in the backdating but I’ve recently become aware they don’t do it anymore so it definitely loses some appeal even though it feels like there’s some kind of prestige having one.
