Another Discover CLI Rejection

Man I haven't logged in and posted here in a long time but I thought I'd share my recent CLI attempt experience so we have more data points here. But anyways, about a week or so ago, I tried to do a CLI with Discover because I started using it to buy car parts off eBay (taking advantage of that 5%). I already have a hunch that I will not get approved because my limit is already pretty high, but I was wrong. They didn't approve my CLI because I haven't been using the card for the past few months.. In retrospect, it does make sense because I just recently started using it.. Oh well I may call them or just try again in a few months.

You are not alone, I have had plenty of Disco RejectionHeart

I am sure others have had to. Most lenders are in "tighten purse strings" mode right now.

I gave up asking Her out, way too many denial letters!

I got the finger this morning too. Last time it was a No for not using enough of my line. Been running through 50%+ of my limit and paying to zero and today was still a No. curious what the letter will say this time.

Re: Another Discover CLI Rejection

Yeah I haven't asked Discover for CLI in awhile so I thought why not ask for one since I'm using it now, but it's no biggie that I didn't get it. I also understand why they're stingy with credit limits right now.

Still good thoughSmiley Wink. Im poor and i achieved 16.5 on my It. Honestly, i woyld not take any Disco cli rejection personally.  They are so random that getting any is a special feat in and of itself. Just be glad it isnt like Cap One lol. Though to be fair if one spends heavy enough one has a higher chance of getting a cli from C1 whereas  you could spendthe moon on Disco and still get squat.

In fairness, cant really  compare Citi cli with Disco because if you are eligble you can get 6 month cli from Citi like clockwork whereas Disco has no set cli policy.
