I then applied using her as primary and me as AU and we were instantly approved for 9.5k.. (See my post under Approvals.). Same profile all though she has a few less inquiries than me. Our BK is 44 months post D/C.
Until your post I was A ok with waiting a while. Why did you have to go get approved?

Just trying to hang with the Big Boys!. On a semi unrelated topic. I applied for the CHASE Amazon Visa with App status pending review. I called the same lady at EO that I spoke to a year ago and she called me back today stating she is going to see what she can do to get me approved. She was surprised that I really called her back one year later!!!

The rep was very kind and helpful and said she thinks he should call back in 1 month when several inquiries will be over 6 months old. She said they may be able to use the same app and hard pull and approve him then. So he will try again then and if it doesn't work contact the EO at that time. He does have a lot of inquiries, so this is no surprise.
Since I'm the OP, I thought I'd update. He called again today 31 days later, as the rep suggested. They approved him for $5000! 31 days ago, he begged for $500 and was told no, but today they gave him $5000. She tried to not do a new HP, but the system wouldn't show her the report from the first attempt.
So, this confirms what the first rep told me: Citi cares a lot about inquiries, but only inquiries that are less than 6 months old.
