Anyone Try Capital One today?

I have had the Cap One for less then 30 days with a $300 limit, so today I did the pre quailfy stuff, and it said I was preapproved for the QuickSilver and the Platinum. I took the QS since I already have a Platinum, and I got $500. Then I tried my wife and she got the same offers, and after applying got $500 on both and her Fico is around 600. Just curious if its a fluke.

By the way I just did the pre qualify page again, and it says Im pre quailified for the QS again even though I was already approved earlier today. I try them a couple times a week and it always says Sorry no offers.

I was approved for Capital One earlier last month for $300 online and then yesterday I received a letter in the mail for another pre-approved Capital One Platinum card and I went online and completed the application and was approved for my 2nd card with a limit of $500.

CapOne is a silly bug.

I plan on some trickery (shhhh) when I reapply for a CapOne in the next year to avoid that crap.

Hmmm.... I recently got approved for the secured card had it less than a month and decided to go see what i would pre quailify for... the quick silver and others came up none of them were the secured version of what i had previosuly been approved for .. I didn't apply for fear of rejection... I wonder... should I risk or wait thirty days pay my first bill then try...???

I got 2 QS1 cards, and my wife got both. But you never know.

Yes. that's correct

However i have 9 open accounts and 1 paid off loan with no lates. They said i had no history at all. I.E. an empty report.
