I have one collection still showing but paid in full that's getting ready to fall off and a 1st premier that shows late/closed but paid in full from 2011.. I just got approved on Monday for gold premier card and this morning got approved for Delta sky miles with a starting limit of 10k! My experience is 687. I'm still excited and in shock! I would wait till you get over 685 before applying 1st. Just 20 days ago I was declined for delta but approved this morning I think those few create points helped? Good luck!
Congrats. Great SL. Your profile is really looking good.

I was approved for Amex Blue Cash Everyday a few days ago. 3 Collections. 1paid. 2 others will fall off in a few months (all medical) and they did only pull Experian.
Do you mind sharing what your Experian score was when you applied and were approved?
I wanna know too...
Good to know people are getting approval at this score. I'm still afraid of getting denied as I hoping to get the Starwood and Chase Sapphire. Just waiting for all the new credit usage to report at $0 balance before applying. Did the pre-qualify by chase and it just show recommendations. Probably because I have a chase Amazon card with $2500 limit last summer.
Current scores with high usage.
Ex:722 clean record
TU: 711 waiting for medical record to be deleted this month
EQ: 664 still have 3 charge off that will get removed in June.
I got approved for an AmEx Everyday last April but I have a small limit of $500. So it really comes down to if AmEx wishes to be nice.
I had 8 collections (totalling more than $66k), 4-5 Inqs, and 9 accounts with delinquencies. My score was 632 when I app'd.
I had apped for four cards that day. Discover It (Failed), PNC (failed), Barclay ($2k), and AmEx ($500).
I had six unpaid collections from 2009 when I app'd for the Amex ED in March of last year. Approved with a CL of $4500. Two days later, I app'd for the Amex Blue Cash and it went into review. Within five days, I was approved with a CL of $5000. At the time, my util was about 2% and my fico scores where all around 670 to 680, with my reported income at $78600. I attempted CLI's at 90 days, and was denied. In July of last year, I app'd for the Delta Skymiles, and was approved immediately for $5000. My accounts are in excellent standing, and I always PIF the ED and Blue. Since I travel a lot, I'm constantly using my Skymiles, and although I make quite a few payments throughout the month, I still end up carrying a balance. I have never received a CLI on any of these cards, but I don't mind. They have been very supportive of me through my rebuild, and I'm still amazed they approved me for three of their cards.
I would app for the Delta Skymiles first. I think it will give you a higher CL since it is a travel card. Good luck to you!
