Add'd for the $200 sign up bonus and got the 7-10 Day message! I personally think that Chase hates me
Update: 6/3/15
Talked to Recon today and they said the card was denied not based off credit score but due to the amount of new accounts in the last "2 years". They lady stated that there couldn't be a recon and this is something new that Chase is implementing. I have no clue if I should give it another go or just let it be. I'm also not sure if this has been heard before by customers or just something she told me specifically but If anyone have any input, please comment
FYI
They stated NO possibility to recon. Everyone should be aware before they App Chase!!
2 many accounts in the last 2 years! 3 this year and 4 last year so 7 in total!
2% UTI on only 1 card & Fico's all above 775 and AOAA is 5 years+ with oldest card reporting is 10 years old.
I will stay in the garden for the next year

I would give them a call. I got the same message when I applied yesterday. I call this morning and had to verify some information and got approved.
I would call. You don't know until you try.
Yes, definitely call. Could be verification. Good Luck

With your credit profile, likely a verification matter. Call them and keep us posted on what they say..

I'd wait it out if you have any number of new accounts. I got the same response with United recently and it was auto approved a few days later. I didn't want to risk the Underwriter interrogation.
I dread Chases UW interrogations... I think on the other hand Barclay's are fairly pleaseant vs. Chase's recently....Heck even US Bank was fun in comparison.

Ironically, it is the other way around for me. Chase has treated me well, but Barclay's was snarky. Different Strokes, for Different Folks. LOL
Funny thread. I've never been interrogated. I think I will just say eff it.
