Apple Card App decision: "We are unable to verify your identification information"

Not in my case! I started applying and sending my California's D/L to no avail and

always got the same message as you and ended up getting an email with "Unable to verify your identity"

but not getting denied!

Then I decided not applying for about 3 months until 2 weeks ago where the system didn't ask me

to send my ID and got approved and I accepted!
