Goldman Sachs couldn't verify my ID when I applied for Apple Card. I'm not sure why, maybe because my license was issued that day (my old one expired and I didn't get my photo b/c of the human malware) or maybe because my chexsystem report was locked.

I unlocked my chexsystem report, so I tried to reapply like the after hours GS rep instructed, but I got locked out for multiple ID failures.

I was told to wait until the next day, but I got the same message (this was a Saturday). So, I waited more than 24 hours before re-applying.

I reapplied today and got the same message, so I called again

The first person was nice, not out of her depth, so she escalated the call. This next person had to talk to their manager.

Apparently, you have to wait 30 days from the first time they give you this message (so I'm 5/30 days in).

If they don't accept your ID verification, call during normal business hours (don't talk to after hours or weekend reps) after the first failure AND check your TransUnion and chexsystems reports for accuracy before re-applying, even if they tell you to keep trying.

Has anyone else had similar issues? If so, how did it play out for you?

Hopefully, around 10/16-10/21 I'll be updating you with an approva

Some have encountered verification issues, including myself. I was able to quickly fix by verifying AppleCash first. Then the application was successful.

I did verify Apple Cash the same day, I guess I should have waited. Hopefully next month will go smoother

I got the same thing in the Wallett App. It said I was pending approval upon verification. They called this morning and I read the code they sent to my iPhone. The agent then said "Check your Wallett and have a good day". I checked and it said "DENIED". LOL after all that waiting and uploading my Photo ID to be denied?? Shame on you Apple. I had to upload front/back of ID then it said they will call and verify a code then send to my phone. It said the reason for the decline was "Lack of real estate secured loan information". All that trouble for nothing. 

so if you get a verification message it doesn't mean for. Sure your approved.
