Thank you all for your responses.
When I see DPs of CLI denials include the wording "too recent", it's just saying 'you're requesting too early.' Typically it does not reset a clock. My question was more about the timing of 91 days and 'should I try again tomorrow?'
I did another request today and received-
This is consistent with the informative replies to my post.
My theory- A successful CLI request late in the day, may be counted on the next business day. In my case, making it 92 days between requests.
I would recommend if anyone receives the "too recent" message with Apple/GS, try again the next day.

- You recently received a credit limit increase on Apple Card
The last CLI was Aug 10, 2021 ($4000->4500) about 4:45pm
I counted 91 days from immediately after the last request. Should I try again tomorrow or wait a couple extra days?
Maybe it's best to start the count from the following day after CLIs and applications...?
PS- I inquired if I should include stocks in my income, they said no. I asked because Amex had specifically mentioned including stocks for a recent CLI.
I am never sure about stocks... maybe contingency on the volatility should be considered such as meme stocks: amc for example is down 25 percent for me which is a significant amount. More stable stocks that keep ahead of inflation and grow with stability or even ones that trend upward like Tesla in spite of their vaporware... I don't know. I wish I had known that about Amex.
