Apple Card CLI request

This card been sitting at 17K for quite some time . I always hit it up since it's SP but always get a NO, citing not enough spend . Put some  spend on it last couple  of months figured I will try again . NOPE now says too many inquires 5 in last 12 months.

So according to them, how many inquiries are too many? Do you know how many you had at the moment? HP or SP?

Yes as above 5 in last 12 months , 11 total in 2 years . Nobody really pulls TU much for me .

Thanks for posting.  I just checked today for a CLI.  I have been using my Apple Card a bunch for a few months now and was just denied again.  

I found a reddit post from 2023 that a commentor said they were getting denied until they paid off the card.  Unclear if he meant once the payment posted or when the $0 statement posted.  This makes a little sense as I think the few CLIs I have received are when I haven't used the card at all.  I'm going to pay off and stop using the card and try again in 30 days.

For me, they've only ever given me CLIs if I hit 40% usage of my CL....which was doable when the CL was $8K, but not now that it's $16K.
