Have any of you guys been given an Apple offer that you felt was not optimal and let it time out to reapply after the 30 days for a better offer? If so what were your results? Is it worth waiting for better terms? My offer is substantially lower than my other cards. A good rate but low limit. I did just accept the Penfed offer last week so maybe that is driving it down.

Many people have actually done that -even more than once- and got more favorable terms. But, you’re rolling the dice and could get the same or worse offers. Good thing is, there’s no HP and you could keep trying till you’re satisfied.
Good to know. The interest rate is OK, just really not feeling that starting limit. Would come out better hitting BB&T for another card probably. Or hit the garden a few months.
It has been said the the SP also reports to Chex, so if your credit goals involve something like that be aware.

If you're not happy with the SL, I'd definitely suggest that you wait and try again later on if still interested.
GS has shown to be stingy with CLIs. They want heavy usage to consider increases.
I remember putting a lot of spend on the card a few months ago and they denied my request.
Keep in mind that lenders aren't as generous nowadays because of current issues. So that could also have been a factor in the offer you received. I'd wait a while.

How does the Chex pull work for/against you? Other than if you have had overdraft or bad deposits. Do those inquiries bode poorly?

After a couple of months waiting my low offer turned into no offer. Can't win 'em all.

Did your scores or DTI change during that time? For better or worse? How low was your offer if you don't mind me asking?

Nah, my profile hasn't altered much the last roughly 12 months -- 740 - 760 Fico scores w/ decent income and no blemishes. A good amount of credit-grabbing however. They offered a $5,000 SL.
Why I am reading this if I don't even have apple products!.
