They have certainly cut them back that since the initial outrage which i find personally unfounded.. There are a few people that got 2500 CL's that should of had 10-15k ones and those got addressed the ones which are more reasonable being 7500 such as myself will be denied unless you dont have alot of credit and used it for a decent amount then you might get a bone. I am 99% certain mine will be declned, but if they ever expect to move onto financing macbooks, etc they are going to have to rethink CL's being one of the biggest banks yet being very conservative on CL's is kinda a weird mix especially for a premium high cost product. I really didnt expect GS to be so conversative on CL's as MARCUS gives out high interest personal loans like candy shrug. Will use it for uber and my music downloads otherwise unless a future 3% cat i can use it will get little use and my next MAC will be on another card out of spite

- Amount usage too low. (I never used anything that cycled.)
- Did not pay enough on balances. (No balance to pay.)
I decided after the CLI request I had just better use the card but alas too little too late because the decision came with no history reporting in time.
My anecdotal opinion of symptom prevention treatment: Not showing usage and large payments bad. Spend a lot within personal comfort zone, pay all or a lot of balance, repeat, then request CLI.

No bone. Limit Stays At My Lowest: $8K
Thanks for those DPs!
Yes, it's becoming evident that they are looking for some significant-percentage usage, not just regular-frequency but lower-percentage usage, prior to approving increases.
Better luck next time!

Sounds kinda like the reason I just moved another 60% of my large holdings in their Marcus Money Market out today. Lol .... didn't feel appreciated as a valued customer. Maybe they will learn ... or maybe they don't care. Either way, at least I feel better.
My first post here, not sure how to add a post, just hit reply on one of the messages here Just got approved for a CLI on my Apple Card:

500k+ in available credit
THICK profile
Util < 1%
I would say I am surprised, but i saw writing on the walls with recent DPs a limit over 5k so looking at it more closely, etc.. I still think 7500 is still a pretty bad limit imho for my profile compared to other lenders etc.. I am serious when I say I will not use a 7500 limit to buy a new MacBook Pro. I would rather give it to someone the understand their business segment if they ever do offer promo financing on things other than iphone i don't understand how they will be able to finance someone without killing their utilization etc. To conservative of a lender for me, but I will keep the card and use it for 3%+ cats other than apple products hardware products. They are very conservative on their UW when average TL > 20k and high is in the 60k+ range. Anyways letter drum roll..
