It's a SP.
@jlitnns wrote:I don't remember when I signed up but was approved $6.5k limit. Chatted for a CLI in Feb 2020 and they gave me $1k. I chatted the other day and they said I need to wait 6 months before I ask for another.
I only use this card 3-4 times per month for $5 purchases from the mini mart next to my office because they take Apple Pay. I have bought an iPad and a couple other $200-300 purchases over the last 6 months on it so it does regularly get used.
Was happy to get something but considering all but my Chase Amazon card have $20k+ limits I am a little surprised. I don't know why Chase hates me...
Double confused ... I don't see either a Chase Amazon Visa or a Goldman Sachs Apple Card in your siggy?? Do you have both also?
Also, you said "I don't know why CHASE hates me but did you mean Goldman Sachs? They issued the new Apple card, not Chase.
As for why they hate you, it's nothing personal. They are just super-conservative with all of us. Few have been really pleased with SL's or CLI outcomes. If you see my previous posts upthread, those who have gotten increases have used at least 25% to 30% of their total credit limits over a few months, paid on time and/or in full, and not had other adverse changes to their reports or scores. In your case, with $7500 limit, you probably need to roll at least $2250 through it over a few months prior to requesting CLI. The higher the spend, the better the outcome in terms of not only approval but for how much they will give you. If you want a big increase, spend heavy and PIF after statement cuts.

Goldman Sachs - Apple is doing soft pulls for CLI.
You can either call or message them through wallet app to request it.
I wouldn't bother, though, unless you're putting a significant amount of spend through it. Approvals have been all about the spend as a percentage of your credit limit. The more the better. Minimum approvals have been about 25-30% of SL. For example, if your approval was $6K, you'd need to put about $2K or more spend on it over a few months to stand good odds of approvals.

Chase Amazon is the fourth card in that signature.

Oops, I see it now. Thanks @Anonymous.
The colorful "Chase Gray" blended into the background lol
They do love their blues and grays. (My siggy is proof!)

Looking at your signature, it's only BoA and Apple Card that don't love their blues and grays 😂 Although white Apple Card isn't that far from gray so really just BoA.

I know, right? Banks like the conservative and reassuring blues and grays, I guess. And I originally posted my Apple card in Titanium-silver before I decided to mix it up with the colored version! My PenFed card is actually the American flag version but I can't find a stock image of it. It's the old "Defender" card but turned horizontal instead of vertical.

I've thought about replacing my Discover card with something exciting. They have some bold designs. But I tend towards the conservative anyway. Lol
Just asked for CLI on my 6.5k. Answer 5-7 days. Did it through messaging. I'm shopping new macbook. Said I wouldn't want to be stuck with high card utilization if I used my AppleCard. We'll see shortly.
Asked for CLI on Wednesday and received response on Sat. No soup for me!!
The proportion of limit used and paid is insufficient.
Biggest purchases have been Apple Care on phone and watch. Only use for a couple Apple subscriptions. I get better cashback on others from my BCP.
My FICO 9 dropped 1pt.
