Today was the first time they didn't ask for one (I don't have a US license) so I got my free Fico 9 score of 719! WooHoo! Along with my denial for too much credit seeking behaviour. (If they think I'm bad on TU, they should see my Experian!)
Man 42 inquiries! Are you butt applying?
I have this tendancy to over-apply when they show me some love, and last fall after getting PC from Cap1 Plat to QS, PayPal Credit, PayPal Mastercard, Savor One and two more Amexes over a few months last fall I REALLY started applying in bulk.
The Apple card is desirable to me for the main reason of my daily driver (the PayPal MC) not being usable in the Apple Wallet. Since I'm based in Canada, and I really hate "Chip and Signature" I'd like to replace the PayPal MC with another 2% no FTF MasterCard that works with Apple Wallet.
Have been working hard on getting my credit back up to good shape. Got this denial instantly on my Apple Card application. 719.. weird but disappointed. Want to get approved and back on my feet already

Unfortunately due to any negatives, you'll see some denials. Your score is a way to sum things up in a general way. It is what's in your file, and how they have the algorithms setup to review applications.
I have been applying for a Citi Costco card for almost a year, my file gets better every time I apply. But they want 0 negatives at all before they will approve me.

Aw man Costco Card is my #1 goal card. I've been reading all old threads on them and I'm sure I've seen people approved with some baddies.
Do you have any Citi cards? I'm hoping since they approved me for their secured card I'll have a better chance when I'm done rebuilding.
So I was bored, and decided to see if Apple Card would accept me into their family (SP no worries). Was not going to accept, no matter what they offered. Alas, they didn't even give me a chance to get my foot in the door.
They told me my TU score is a: 715
Reason for rejection: "You have recently been past due"
This is most definitely not the case as I have not had anything past due.
DP: Cards on Sig.
1% Util of 96K Total Credit Line
1 HP on TU 10/2019
Wasn't going to take it, but hate to hear generic false reasons for rejection. At least if they would have stated my BK in 2014. But "recently past due?" Seriously?
