here is a strategy that worked for my brother;. he got a secured card fo 300. Didn't use it at all for 12 months. At 12 months he applied for the apple barclay card for 5k, got it after a phone call to verify identity. Same day he applied for an amazon card instant approval at 2,500. Waited two months for it to report applied for virgin air credit card and was approved at 6k, same day southewest chase (6,500), nexty day walmart mastercard approved 700, one week later chase slate (5k). Now he is done. I think this is a better strategy than trying small cards and building up--he got three visa signature cards, and slate all within one year. no other tradelines

Wow this seems miraculous...and dangerous lol. I'd say that not everyone might have the same luck.
