Re: Apple Starting Limit

Well mine was 54% when I received the higher SL ha! It's only a SP when you apply and a HP if you accept. You could always give it a go just to see what they offer with your current util. Honestly whatever their algorithm is you never know what you'll get. If you aren't happy with it you can try again in 30 days.

Re: Apple Starting Limit

Yeah! I guess it wouldn't hurt to try and see what offer I get. Thanks again.

Also, did you apply from an apple device and were you trying to make an apple purchase when you applied? Just wondering if it makes any difference whether you apply from an Apple device or not.

From my understanding, the *ONLY* way to apply has been through an apple device using Apple Wallet, unless they changed it.  I'm pretty sure that was the way it was when the card started last year.

They changed it. If you have or get an Apple ID, you can apply on the Apple website at checkout (you don't have to complete the purchase if approved). It's basically the SCT.

Re: Apple Starting Limit

So in the end, I couldn't stay away. I accepted the 4K starting limit. Hopefull this card can grow at a good pace.

I also put quite a high spend because I found some good deals so it might take me two to three months to pay off all the spending. Hopefully this translates to a good credit limit increase later. I am curious as to how my score will fluctuate. I saw my updated score with the low utilization and it did go up to 780.
