I have been scolded about my utilization. By countless members for almost a year. Like many before me have advised: get those revolving TL balances down. The wait to app is worth the reward you will receive for chopping down that util.
I know from my own experience it is easier said than done. Once you get to that point where you see for yourself how your scores go up and down with your balances, you should form the desire to keep your balances low.30 day late is 7 months old NERD. I have a legimitate and extenuating life experience that caused it and nothing else fell behind which I explained in the RECON where it did not work but at the EO office they were understanindg about it. And it has also been over 5 years since I had any other lates fyi.
I understand about the utilization very much so. I studied finance and consult in the Real Estate industry so DTI and excel spreadsheets with underwriting criteria are not foreign to me whatsoever. But I do not need to nor am I going to make a huge payment on a zero interest rate that is valid for another 12 months at this point. Not to just get a new card and do a new app and HP. I was just hoping for some suggestions from people on new cards maybe going around and giving out limits for people in the high 600 low 700 range with a good professional salary and backround. I already got my B of A up from 5k to 10k and the account is only 2 months old so I am so stoked about that! And I have read a lot of posts about how difficult they can so I am feeling lucky so far.

Have you considered or attempted a GW campaign on any of your lates? I am aware that cleaning up here & there wasn't part of your OP. I'm merely suggesting that healing old credit wounds may put your credit profile in a stronger position for the next app.
been there done that my friend. I could have written a dissertation in my OP about my history. I have a pretty vast knolwledge of how credit works and all the ins and outs on my own (but nobody knows it all!) and have learned even more by reading these boards but I also did a lot of outside the boards research and my job has me dealing with banks and loaning money constantly so I know how they think. This is the 1st time I reached out to the community as a whole. Only sent private messgae once. So I did not want to go on a diatribe.
I really was hoping to find like a NFCU that gives out great starting limits for good credit. And what apparently NASA FCU used to be. And also a travel rewards card. Which I am sure I could get but I would want a starting limit of aroud $3,000....
Congratulations on the BoA CLI. They can be generous for CLI's, especially once you get a little history.
I don't have any advice on other cards. I haven't spent much time looking for cards with good limits. It is not just your util hurting your credit score, it is also even if you are approved, many CCCs will give you a small limit with high util.
Perhaps you should wait for EQ mess to be sorted out and any CLI's to be reported. Maybe try a GW letter on the lattes. Then try NFCU. NFCU would probably approve you for a second card. Assuming your existing card is at least 6-12 months old.
Cap1 may also be a future possibility. They are really two credit card companies. The sub-prime side doesn't have the best service. However, the prime side is much better. You will need to wait until the QS or Venture show up on the pre-qual site. Prime for Cap1 isn't as high of a bar as some other CCCs.
