Hey everyone, I just applied to an Amex Everyday so I could get the bonus and have a place to park any miles for when I cancel my PRG. After I applied and clicked submit the spinning wheel lasted for about a minute and the screen said there was an error and I would receive a letter in the mail within 14 days or I could check an online account status thing so I checked that and it just says pending. Should I call on Monday or just wait for the letter?
I know with Chase you can kind of predict whether or not you're approved by the letter wait time, is it the same with Amex? Thanks everyone!

Use this his link and check the status
That's kind of what I was thinking. Checked the link and it still says pending. I'm willing to bet I was declined as I'm currently financing something and have a pretty high balance on one card of 50% but I wanted to try anyways. Thanks everyone!

I think if you were declined, it would show that by now.. Pending seems to be a good thing, with Amex (it was for me..3 times)

+1
Checked again last night and it was a definite decline unfortunately. I'll probably wait a few months and try again when my balance is lowered. Thanks everyone
