Applied for another Capital One card and was denied for strange reason

Has anyone been denied by Capital One for the following reason:

The reason(s) for our decision are:

Based on your application information, Capital One account credit limit(s) are too high

New accounts has no idea what this means.  Customer service has no idea either.

could be.  I finally got someone and she said she'll send it back through for reprocessing so I assume that a human will be looking at it.  I hope so anyway.  No biggie if still denied.

4.  They allow you to have 5.  I had 5 at one point but closed one

They must use a different type of scoring model.  They have my EX FICO at 676.  My First Bankcard has it at 713 (same dates)

usually use 04 scores not enhanced.. I think that means you hit their ceiling as well is my guess unless manual UW will turn it over.  Best of luck
