I applied for the chase southwest card.
chase asked for income verification which I provided. For a couple days after sending in the documentation I got the 30 day review then it changed to 7-10 business days when checking application via phone.
I called the recon line and they transferred me to the chase fraud operations/security verification line but they are closed over the weekend. Calling in on Monday but am I out of luck?
@Anonymous, Hi & Welcome to the forum!
Could just be as simple as verification, that it is really you who applied.
My suggestion is don't fret and call on Monday.
Please keep us posted on the outcome?
Good Luck and may the odds be in your favor!
Thanks for the reply. I will definitely cal on Monday. Seems like the income verification documents would have been sufficient verification.

One would think, but sometimes with certain lenders, you have to jump through more than one hoop.
Ask me how I know?![]()
@Anonymous, Chase is big on fraud verification, so that could very well be the reason. They've even held up new cards for me over that as an existing customer. As @M_Smart007 suggested, just call on Monday to clear it up. The 7-10 day message isn't a denial but they probably just need more information. Sometimes it is also given for underwriting review of data besides fraud.

glad to hear that. Just kept reading 7-10 message was not a good sign. Hopefully I am still ok.
Ok. As an update, I just called into Chase fraud operations services. They indeed just need to verify that it was me who applied for the card. The rep the. Was able to make an instant decision and told me the card would be shipped in 1-2 weeks! Hooray!
Congratulations on your new card.
