A word of warning.
I recently applied for a Chase Freedom Unlimited card, after being on the fence about whether it was worth an HP and my chances (currently rebuilding my FICO score).
The FU has TWO possible SUBs right now:
- An extra 1.5% cash back for the first year, for a total of 3% cash back
- $200 bonus after spending $500 in the first three months
I wanted the second bonus, but didn't pay attention when I finally applied and got the 3% cash back instead.

The crossover point on the SUBs is $13,333 in the first year. There's no chance I'll be able to hit that (the card itself only has a $1K SL).
So...
Remember to always check available SUBs when you apply!
