just applied for the CSP and IHG card after already being at 5/24 (the CSP was pre selected for me). i applied within a couple of minutes of each other to try to get it to show up as one single pull.
the CSP was instantly approved for $13.5k (will be PC to the Freedom once i get the 50k UR bonus) but the IHG doesn't say anything other than:
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUBMISSION
We appreciate your interest in a Chase card product. We have received the information you have submitted. You may close your browser session.
when i called the automated application status i said approved but it is probably referring to the CSP since the automated machine has no way of knowing which card i'm calling to find out about. and the recon line is already closed for the night so i'll have to wait till morning.
is that basically a wait 7-10 days for decision? did they even pull the report for the IHG?

IHG probably a 5/24 Denial CSP Approved
from what i read the IHG card doesn't fall into the 5/24 rule that is why i applied for the CSP first so that the CSP would still see me as 5/24 but pre selected rather than preselected with 6/24..

It is neither, that message means chase website has detected your last (CSP) application's status and is ignoring the IHG application as a duplicate.
Technically, you need to clear your browser cookies/history or use another browser/another computer. Otherwise from their end you only applied for CSP and the IHG application 'does not exist'.
However, recently there have been rumors of Chase looking for this kind of multi-apply behavior and shutting people down after appoval, I'd think twice if your 5 recent cards (Chase or not) are very recent (like, this year).

You are sure choosing a bad time to be doing this IMO!

oh well thank you for pointing that out i guess i won't be applying for the IHG if the system never detected it especially when i got the CSR 3 months ago.

Yes and just looking at your credit card images, if these are your only cards, 5 out of 7 cards being chase is very high exposure with 1 creditor. You might want to consider spreading your exposure with more creditors in the future so if one of them takes AA to shut their cards down with you it does not sting as much. Diversify...however Chase might see this also and look at it as loyalty, making them less likely to take AA, and more likely to reverse if they do.

i have 6/12, the 6th one is a crappy card i wish i never got so i don't even count that one (i was green at the time). so i'm 3 out of 6 with chase. and yeah i really love chase so i tend to prefer their cards. i still have the 3 Ink and SW (for companion pass) cards which will keep me chase only into 2020 and then i can get capital one, discover, citi, etc...
