Lol, i guess it doesnt mean much. I got the same and they told me id get the card in a week. I don't recall hearing a limit given and left. I called the robo line and got the 7-10 days as well although i did not recieve and email at all.
I opened 4 chase cards last year, consolidated 2, all 4 yielded the 7-10 day response and required I validate information. That could be the case in your situation. Good luck!
