Hi everyone,
I've seen some threads indicating that preapprovals may not always appear in the "for you" tab on Chase's customer website.
Additionally, I have used the chase preapproval tool to no avail.
Is it worth visiting the local branch or applying without the preapproval? Has anyone had any luck applying and being approved without the preapproval?

Lots of people have been approved without receiving pre-approval offers, myself included (with all my Chase cards). However, receiving offers and their pre-approval tool are two different things. The offers have traditionally been pretty solid. I can't answer as to how accurate the tool is.
There's also several DPs in the past of people having better success applying in branch. You could share some stats, including your Fico scores, any baddies on your reports, income, which card you're looking at etc.... that might help better steer you in the right direction.

Welcome to the forum.
Your chances would probably be slightly improved by visiting the local branch.
I'm assuming you're under 5/24.

I'm under 5/24 and no derogatories on my account but I am at about 38% utilization on my other cards.
When I successfully applied in-branch in December of 2022 I had neither a pre-approval or an offer letter; to compound that, I burned them in a Chapter 13 in early 2015. My starting limit? Would you believe $11,700? I was shocked.
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

UPDATE:
I applied and was approved for a $15,000 limit! Thank you all for your input!
