Applying In-branch for CSP

I've recieved so many mailers from Chase about this card, that I actually chose to opt-out of future offers. However, I recently decided to apply for the card, but was denied for exceeding the 5/24 rule online, but it has been suggested that applying in person may circumvvent this. Do I need any prior association with Chase for this to work?

Re: Applying In-branch for CSP

Visit your local branch. If you're pre qualified in branch, you can bypass the 5/24 rule. Also another option is if your CPC and go through your private banker.

I think you need to have some association with Chase to have a prequal in branch.

If you don't have anything with Chase, just be careful, ask if there is any prequal on the system and what APR shows. Only go for it if the APR is not a range.

Re: Applying In-branch for CSP

1st mistake you made is when you opt out . By doing so , you will never have any pre approval offers.

You need to opt back in.

2nd , do you have relationship with Chase already ?

No, I don't. I have no association with them.

The in branch definately works.  It will be hard if you have no association with them and have already applied and have been denied.  You can certainly give it a shot but if I were in your shoes, I'd wait a bit before applying again.
