Applying for 2 cards in same day, is it okay?

Im thinking about apping for the Discover It and the Amex BCE. Is it okay to app for them both in the same day? Or wait a day or two in between the applications? Or more time than that? Also, should i app for one before the other for any specific reason? Discover before Amex? Or Amex before Discover? I only have 2 other cards. Cap 1 Q1 and Chase FU as of now. Looking to get my 3rd and started thinking if i should just app for both of them instead of waiting around another 6-12 months till i apply again. Im pretty good at hanging out in the garden if thats what i need to do. But i sort of would like to get get them both if i can now. What do you think?

You can app for both the same day. App for the Discover through their pre-qualification site. They SP'd EQ with no HP for my last Discover card.
Amex is known to pull EX faithfully.

It’s definitely ok, most people would suggest applying for your goal cards at the same time, so they can age gracefully with each other. lol 

I applied for my Discover, Amex Platinum, and Amex SPG Card, in different browsers at the same time 🤪

Absolutely. Especially since Amex pulls strictly EX, and Discover pulls EQ a lot of the time, depending on location,, it is possible the applications will have no bearing on eachother.

Thanks! I wanted to ask before i applied just in case their was something silly i didnt know and then i get denied . Ive been prequalified for both so I might go ahead and do it today. I will definitely post my results.

Also I don't think Amex or Discover are very inquiry sensitive.  So even if they saw the other inquiry they wouldn't care.

I was approved for an American Express Every Day And a Blue Cash EveryDay on the same day back in April.

Each of these had a higher starting limit than all of my other previous cards combined.

@BH1985...i did apply for both yesterday and just like you both starting limits were better than my others! So glad I did it!
