Applying for Chase Freedom and Chase Slate.. how many hard pulls?

Long story short, I was pre-qualified for the Chase Freedom and Chase Slate. I will be applying for both but want to know if applying for both in the same day will result in a single hard pull or two? 

If it's possible to do it with just ONE hard pull, do I have to call into Chase to begin the second app so they can use the same HP?

Yes it's possible to do it with just ONE hard pull if you apply on the same day. However, some people might still get pulled twice - one on each credit bureau. 

There's also some reports that they now only allow one Chase core-branded card per 30 days, so please make sure you apply for the one you like to use more first in case you dont get both.

Finally, please also make sure to clear your web cache after your first application with Chase before submitting your second application. Otherwise the system might automatically reject/assume that this is a duplicate application-- giving you a message saying that you have already applied.

I was pre approved for the same two thru my online chase account I did the Freedom Card first got it for $10,000 and the did the slate card 4 hours later and got that one also for $10,000 and it was only one hard pull on TransUnion since I had the other two frozen at the time also got aprroved for the barclay ring card for $7,500 merged that with my barclay NFL card of $13,500 for a cool $21,000 dollar limit gardening for the rest of the year. Sorry bout running on there and any errors typing on my iPhone
