Thanks, alvon123!
The strangest thing happened today. Chase gave me an auto CLI on the Freedom card--they doubled(!) my CL. A week after getting approved for CSP with a credit line of $7,500, now my Freedom's credit limit is $8,000... I can't make heads or tails of this.

Sounds like Chase is feeling the love and wants to share a bit. I have yet to see any auto CLI on their cards yet, but of course I've only had them as a lender for a few months now.
Yes, for some reason I thought they almost *never* do auto-CLI. I took a HP back in August to increase it from $500 to $4000, so this was really unexpected.
Anyone knows if this means the card will turn into a Visa Signature? Just curious.

Congrats on your successes - the most surprising of all is the auto-luv on your Freedom from Chase!!! In answer to your question, I don't think your Freedom card will be auto-upgraded to a VS, but you will almost definitely get it converted if you request it. Normally Chase requires two things: $5000 limit and at least one year with the card, and you have both!
Thanks, jaylay17! I might ask them, if anything else, to get a new card that will also have a chip...
