I personally prefer lenders websites when I apply . I am not sure there is really any difference how you apply . I also prefer to apply on my laptop or desktop because I tend to make mistakes on my little keyboard on my 📱
I dont think anyone can answer this question. I do know that I have gotten different Chase pre-selecteds the same day using the app and then the website and then Credit Journey

It really all depends on the institution. Some populate offers quicker to the app, while other show their offers sooner in the website and some it's nearly simultaneous. Some institutions you have a better chance in the app, some the website, some with a phone call, others...in branch.
If there is a specific lender you're considering, that info would make it quicker for people to help.
