Are CU CC approvals instant? I apped to my local CU for a Visa but given the message...

Both of my CU's stated what they felt I could get (through the loan officer), but they had to go to UW for final approval. And both were very slow, I had two vehicle loans approved a week before they did the CC's.

Some of them are instant and some of them aren't.

Welp, got the call...Approved with a 5K limit at 8.5%.

They even approved me to refinance my car loan at 1.98%, however I just refi with DCU at 1.49.
